Wesley Holmes

Wesley Holmes is the Chief Innovation Officer at Essense Partners, a strategic marketing and communications firm working exclusively in the energy and utilities sector. Wesley has more than a decade of experience in clean energy policy, program design, and industry development.

Working at the intersection of technology, policy, and culture, Wesley is focused on the role of communications, marketing, and user experience design to usher in the clean energy economy and support scaled adoption of grid interactive technology and clean transportation systems.

Joy Sinderbrand

Joy Sinderbrand is the Senior Vice President for Capital Programs at the New York City Housing Authority overseeing the project management teams carrying out a $4.5 billion capital program incorporating innovative procurement methods, building materials, construction methods, and technology. Joy initially joined NYCHA in 2016 to implement the largest single grant in FEMA history and the largest federal investment in public housing since its inception. Over $2.5 billion of the $3.2 billion of disaster recovery funding has been invested to protect over 200 multifamily buildings from flooding and power outages.

Last fall, her department released NYCHA’s first Climate Adaptation Plan, outlining a path forward for a 2,500+-building portfolio housing some of New York’s most vulnerable residents. Prior to NYCHA, Joy worked on a variety of large-scale capital projects, including the expansion of Penn Station and the reconstruction of the World Trade Center.

Diane Burman

Diane X. Burman serves as a Commissioner of the New York State Public Service Commission. Her term runs through February 2024. Ms. Burman is a member of the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC), serving on numerous committees, and is Chair of the NARUC Department of Energy Natural Gas Partnership Initiative.

She was recently appointed by the NARUC President as Co-Vice Chair of the Select Committee on Regulatory and Industry Diversity and to the Taskforce on Emergency Preparedness, Recovery and Resiliency as well as the Task Force’s Special Subcommittee on Lessons Learned from COVID-19. Ms. Burman also serves as the Vice Chair of the U.S. Department of Transportation Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Gas Pipeline Advisory Committee.

She obtained her B.A. from Molloy College, her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, and was admitted to the bar in 1992.
