Jane Shin

Jane Shin is currently a department manager in Con Edison’s distribution engineering organization. She is responsible for network transformers, network protectors, distribution structures, and tools. Jane is also a member of Con Edison’s Climate Risk and Resilience Group. She has been with Con Edison for over 20 years in various organizations, including electric distribution, energy management, and finance, as well as working on a large scale IT project.

Jane holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art and an MBA in Quantitative Finance and Operations from New York University Stern School of Business.


Ashish Tiwari

Ashish Tiwari has a lifelong passion for solving problems pertaining to the utility industry — for example, using advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) data to create algorithms for improving outage management indicators. He applies his problem-solving skills to generate greater value for utility stakeholders. Working with leading East Coast utilities, he delivered productivity improvements and operations savings in excess of $5.5 million.

He has spearheaded many complex and large-scale digital transformation engagements for leading North American utilities. These range across a wide array of utility goals — from a smart meter deployment for a leading North American utility with 5 million customers, to advanced distribution management system implementations. He brings proven experience in grid modernization data analytics road map definition and IT/OT road map development for a utility planning to deploy 250,000+ smart lights and gunshot detectors across its service territory.


Swapnil Gore

Swapnil Gore is an experienced energy professional skilled in distributed generation and energy efficiency. He has over 11 years of experience working in the energy sector and, since 2016, has worked on and managed engineering projects in commercial, industrial, and residential segments for PSEG Long Island.

Mr. Gore has a strong engineering background complemented by a double master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Energy Analytics. Along with managing the engineering group, he is also involved in program planning, forecasting, and benefit-cost screening for commercial and residential portfolios. Mr. Gore is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) and holds CEM and DGCP certifications from AEE.
