Phil Vos is Program Director for Energy Vision, a national 501(c)(3) environmental organization. Energy Vision works to advance commercial, cost-effective energy and fuel solutions for a low-carbon economy, with a particular focus on renewable natural gas made from organic waste. Phil has taken the lead on much of the organization’s recent research, including projects for public entities like the U.S. Department of Energy, NYSERDA, the City of New York and the State of Colorado, as well as for private companies.
Phil joined EV in 2017 after nearly seven years working on building energy efficiency and renewable energy in the private sector, where he initiated and led sales efforts to help building owners comply with New York City’s groundbreaking energy benchmarking and energy auditing laws. He is a native of New York City who earned his B.A. at Columbia University, and his MSc from the London School of Economics.
