
Page Crahan leads the commercial and go-to-market for Tapestry, X’s moonshot for the electric grid. Formerly known as Google X, the ‘moonshot’ factory’s mission is to invent and launch breakthrough technologies that solve the world’s biggest problems. Tapestry is focused on modeling and simulating the electrical grid to forecast how it will behave in the future, from nanoseconds to decades ahead. Tapestry is also creating tools for governments, utilities, energy developers and major energy users that leverage these models to help the industry build, manage, and use grids dominated by renewable and other clean energy technologies.
Page is an experienced business leader and startup veteran who has created go-to-market plans for early/growth-stage companies. Before X, Page combined her energy and entrepreneurial experience as co-CEO and founder of Clarus Power, a venture-backed residential solar customer acquisition platform with over 1,500 national consultants. She is an expert in business model innovation, customer acquisition, product design, and scaling hyper-growth teams.
Previously, Page was among the first 20 employees at Sunrun, the largest residential solar provider in the U.S., where she led the Retail organization. She is a co-inventor of several U.S. Patents and recognized as one of the top 50 Climate Tech Operators in the 2021 Climate Draft.
She is an advisor and angel investor with her firm Persistent Ventures and she is an expert with Powerhouse Ventures. Her pro-bono work includes building classes for Stanford Graduate School of Business’ Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies. Page holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Santa Clara University and has earned a certificate from the Stanford GSB Summer Institute for General Management.
