Lauren Ray

Lauren Ray is the Agricultural Sustainability and Energy Engineer with the Cornell University PRO-DAIRY Program. Cornell PRO-DAIRY provides education and applied research to advance the New York State dairy industry toward sustainability. Lauren’s expertise includes energy system economic analysis and greenhouse gas quantification of dairy manure management systems, including those that produce energy from anaerobic digestion. Her past professional experience focused on distributed energy generation project application and implementation, primarily within New York State.

Lauren has a B.S. from Cornell University and a M.S. from Georgia Tech, both in Mechanical Engineering. She is a Faculty Fellow with the Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability and a Certified Energy Manager.
