
Justin Gundlach joined the Building Decarbonization Coalition’s New York team in September 2022. He leads that team’s utility policy and regulatory efforts in New York. He is the author of numerous publications on how energy and environmental law and policy interact with the impacts of energy use on the climate and of climate change on infrastructure and public health.
Before joining Building Decarbonization, Justin worked at the New York University School of Law’s Institute for Policy Integrity, the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), and the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law at Columbia Law School. He received a J.D. cum laude from NYU School of Law, an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. magna cum laude from Wesleyan University.
