
Dr. Hendrik Hamann is a Distinguished Research Staff Member and Chief Scientist for Climate and Sustainability in IBM Research at IBM T.J. Watson Research Center. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Goettingen in Germany. He is the winner of 2016 award of Industrial Applications of Physics of the American Institute of Physics and a Fellow of American Physical Society. He is Member of the National Mapping Committee of the National Research Council.
Hendrik has authored more than 160 scientific papers and holds over 180 patents. He is also a Visiting Professor at Yamagata University.
