Hara Wang is a globally-minded climate tech innovator and practitioner. She currently leads investments and fund partnerships at Third Derivative, a climate tech accelerator and corporate- and capital-aligned ecosystem for climate innovation. She was most recently an investor at Braemar Energy Ventures, where she invested and worked alongside entrepreneurs building and scaling next-generation energy, transport, and manufacturing solutions. Prior to that, she was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company, where she helped the world’s largest institutional investors and industrial companies navigate the energy transition.
Earlier in her career, she supported business development at Eos Energy Storage, investigated process innovation opportunities for Chinese solar PV manufacturers, and built microgrid solutions and agricultural tools in sub-Saharan Africa. Having advanced climate solutions across maturity stages, across verticals, and on four continents, she is now dedicated to accelerating the rate of climate innovation.
