As Director of Solar Policy, David Murray manages solar work streams related to wildlife, permitting, and legislative and regulatory affairs. He also works with American Clean Power industry partners to improve environmental impacts, health and safety, workforce development, and operations and management. Prior to joining ACP, David served as Executive Director of the Chesapeake Solar & Storage Association (formerly MDV-SEIA), representing the diverse solar and storage industry in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
David has a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a master’s degree in Renewable Energy Development Studies from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, and is certified as a NABCEP entry-level photovoltaic installer.
