Corey Muirhead

Corey Muirhead is the Executive Vice President of Logan Bus Company, the largest school bus provider in the city of New York, amassing over 4,000 employees and 2,500 routes. Astute business acumen, political savviness, and a penchant for customer service have established Mr. Muirhead as a sought-after captain of industry. Mr. Muirhead is responsible for negotiating the largest municipal-private contractor transportation extension agreement with the New York City Department of Education. He is also credited with putting the first electric school bus on NYC streets.

Mr. Muirhead has been named to the 2021 City & State Transportation Power 100 List, 2020 City & State Magazine’s “40 Under 40 Rising Stars” in NYC Politics and a 2019 Long Island Business News “30 Under 30” award for young professionals who contribute to the Long Island community through public service and who have made significant strides in business. He was awarded the 2020 Roger Weeks New York School Bus Contractor Association’s Contractor of The Year Award for work he did on behalf of the industry during the COVID pandemic.

Mr. Muirhead has been a guest on television shows and industry trade podcasts, and interviewed/quoted in multiple newspapers.

He serves as a trustee on the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1181 Pension and Welfare Funds and sits/advises on various Board of Directors such as the National School Transportation Association, Gate-Keeper Systems, Unique Electric Solutions, and Qudos Technologies. A lifelong New York resident, Mr. Muirhead graduated from Marist College.
