Christine Sloan

Christine Sloan manages a portfolio of National Offshore Wind Research and Development Consortium (NOWRDC) R&D projects — including those developing a supply chain road map to reach the national goal of 30 GW of offshore wind deployed by 2030 and quantifying conflicting use mitigation measures in wind lease areas — and leads NOWRDC’s policy and congressional outreach.

Before joining NOWRDC, she was with the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities’ offshore wind team and then completed the Sea Grant John A. Knauss Marine Policy Fellowship with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Christine received her Master’s of Marine Policy from the University of Delaware, where she studied perceptions of the Block Island Offshore Wind Farm during and after its installation, and her B.A. from the Macaulay Honors College at City University of New York Hunter College.
