Carrie Cullen Hitt

Carrie Cullen Hitt recently joined Equinor the Co-Lead of Transmission Strategy for (US) Offshore Wind. Prior to joining Equinor she served as the Executive Director for the National Offshore Wind R&D Consortium – a not for profit focused on finding innovative solutions to help the US reach its 30GW by 2030 OSW deployment goal. Carrie was the President of New Hampshire Transmission, a NextEra Energy (NEER) and a Senior Project Director at NEER.Carrie worked as a leading advocate for the solar industry in leadership positions at the Solar Alliance and Solar Energy Industries Association. In the early 2000s she was involved in electricity market restructuring and advocacy in both the public and private sectors, including the Harvard Electricity Policy Group and Constellation NewEnergy. She is a graduate of Clark University (BA) and Johns Hopkins (MA, SAIS). She is an Artemis Circle Board Member of the Boston Boys and Girls Club.
