For over a hundred years, the electric grid has been a multi-stakeholder system that has successfully managed real-time electricity supply and demand while maintaining system reliability, safety, resiliency and affordability. Today, that system is diversifying and becoming more complex faster than ever before, and people are relying on it more and more to sustain modern life.
