2022 Call For Posters

Our 2022 conference will feature a poster session for undergraduate and graduate students who are conducting research on topics related to energy.

We invite students to submit a poster as an alternative to participating in our biennial event. The process for poster submission is open until August 31, 2022. Individuals will be notified of acceptance on a rolling basis, via email. Please check conference website for periodic updates.

Poster contributions are solicited to review recent developments, driven by both fundamental research and technology, in areas such as:

  • Advanced Buildings
  • Advanced Vehicle Technologies
  • Advances in Additive Manufacturing
  • Advances in Solar Energy
  • Advances in Urban Mobility
  • Alternative Transportation Fuels
  • Battery & Energy Storage
  • Bioenergy
  • Community Solar
  • Emerging Smart Grid Technologies
  • Energy Cybersecurity
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Future of the Electric Utility Industry: Challenges and Opportunities
  • Microgrids & Distributed Generation
  • Offshore Wind Energy
  • Role of Policy in Regional Energy Transitions
  • Smart Mobility & Connected Vehicles
  • The Future of Transmission

 

Eligibility

Open to both undergraduate and graduate students from all disciplines and majors who are currently enrolled within the 48 contiguous United States and Canada.

  • Students with accepted posters will attend the Thursday Evening Poster Session, September 8, 2022, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, for FREE as well as visiting AEC exhibitors.
  • The abstract will be the basis for poster selection, and we advise authors to focus on describing the salient aspects concisely.
  • Posters should be visually stimulating and have images and graphs as appropriate.

SUBMIT ABSTRACT

Individuals will be notified of acceptance on a rolling basis and no later than September 1, 2022, via email. Further instructions (poster specifications, prize amounts, etc.) will be provided after the abstract is reviewed/approved. Limit of 100 posters to be accepted.

Awards
An awards committee consisting of faculty judges will conduct a review of all student posters and select all winners.
